We implement the foundations of The Creative Curriculum© for children aged 45 days to 4 years old. Our curriculum implementation supports children’s development and growth by offering enriching learning experiences that foster exploration. We guide them in building creativity, and independence, preparing them to confidently embrace the next stage of their learning journey.
Our activities are tailored to meet the individual needs of each child in our classrooms, offering a variety of learning opportunities as part of the daily schedule. Children can participate in child-led, small group, and large group activities, fostering collaboration and independence. Through daily Choice Time, children are empowered to navigate their own learning journey, making decisions that support their personal growth and development.
Each child’s progress and development are monitored against learning objectives reflective of their age group. Through a systematic and meaningful progress monitoring process our teachers and caregivers monitor progress closely to discover what is unique and special about each child. The information gained through observation and our progress monitoring procedures enables our teachers to identify individual needs and plan individualized learning experiences that allow each child to flourish.
As children progress through their individual learning journey, their creations, masterpieces, and progress are documented in individual learning portfolios, shared with parents at regular intervals throughout the academic year. With this we aim to demonstrate each child’s progress and collect special moments for children and parents to treasure.
In addition, parents can enjoy a daily insight into their child’s learning through the parent communication application. Parents receive pictures, videos, activity descriptions and personal care information through our teacher to parent communication providing a transparent and informative nursery experience.
Twice per year, each child’s progress and development are shared through detailed Progress reports outlining each child’s individual learning journey and next steps. Children’s progress is recorded and monitored by our teachers before sharing during Parent- Teacher meetings. This process supports us to celebrate each child’s progress and achievements and allows us to form the next steps in their learning.
Understanding each child has unique needs, likes and dislikes is central to our approach to learning as children advance to levels of developmental progression.
We implement the foundations of The Creative Curriculum® and a whole child approach to teaching and learning so that every child has a personalized learning journey that is responsive to their individual needs.
Our teachers are fully equipped with the knowledge and experience to identify and support each child individually and provide guidance to families who need further support in enhancing their child’s learning experience.
From their very first day, children are introduced to engaging Arabic language learning activities. Our learning environments offer rich opportunities to experience the Arabic language through interactive wall displays, hands-on resources, and creative focus activities. These activities encourage exploration both independently and in group settings.
Children aged 45 days to 4 years participate in daily schedules enriched with age-appropriate Arabic language activities and attend Language focused events celebrating the Arabic Language. These activities emphasize key words, letters, numbers, shapes, and colors, helping to enhance each child’s understanding and knowledge in a fun and meaningful way.
Our classrooms and learning environments are enriched with displays that celebrate UAE Culture and National Identity, creating a space where children engage in daily, child-led learning experiences. These experiences highlight key aspects of UAE heritage, including cultural games, familiar landmarks, notable community figures, and significant national events.
As part of the nursery’s academic calendar, key cultural events such as UAE National Day and UAE Flag Day are celebrated with the entire nursery community.
Our School Readiness program guides our Preschool and Pre-K children as they continue their daily activities and learning with school readiness in mind. We support children as they develop independence and learn to communicate their wants and needs, ready to continue their learning journey at school. With the gradual introduction of more advanced learning and classroom routines, from the beginning of Preschool, children transition to school with a foundation of knowledge reflecting the routines and more advanced learning that you will find in school classrooms. Our progressive learning activities and academically focused interest areas mean that children can embrace a more challenging environment, while still enjoying the comfort of the familiar Teddy Bear Nursery surroundings.
